I may have missed it, but is there a rule about Hero Players that wish to enter Mythic contests that have already spent all their Divine Favor? Would they be required to mark Fate to enter the contest, or would they be prevented from entering it altogether?

Fate is an option, but this is a form of harm, so you can replace it by spending a bond as well.
