The 5 initial Boons are actually 4 advances?

In this part of the video, John says that some Boons cost 1 and others cost 2:
BLOODSTROKE 2: SAGAS OF THE RAVENSGUARD, Pt. 2 (1:22:30)

This confuses me. I thought the “first five boons from the initial set” (p. 49) were five distinct advances, and “Advance a d6 Domain die to d8” had 2 boxes because you pick two advances of that type. So 5 Boon “points” are spent to get 5 total advances, and your fully upgraded Domains end up as d10, d8, d8, d6.

If instead “Advance a d6 Domain die to d8” actually costs 2 Boon “points” to acquire, then there are 4 advances to get, and your Domains go up to d10, d8, d6, d6.

The AGON manual is not upfront about this, but John’s quote from the video is clear. I’d appreciate written confirmation to be sure. Thanks.

I misspoke in the moment on the show. Each boon costs one advance, and you can take the second one twice.
