Why isn't marching band a sport?

Technically it is. Physical activity, yes. Competition, yes. Teamwork, yes. Most people who say that it isn't have never marched.They just just don't understand all the work that goes into a 10 minute show.

My teacher told me because all they do is March. Phyical but it's basically instruments.
