H is what makes it move right or left.
K is what makes it move up or down.

h = -2
k = -7
y = (1) (x-(-2))² + (-7)
y= (x + 2)² -7
(Also, you will learn b in the equation. The equation would be a(b(x-h))² + k. B would be about horizontal compression.)
