If you’re the kind of person who likes to think about what their scoundrels look like, allow me to recommend this resource. It’s the Metropolitan Museum’s archive of their Costume Institute collection and it is so good. If you can’t find an NPC or three in this sub-archive of French fashion photographs, I just don’t know.
