So, this is a little embarrassing, but I recently took it upon myself to combine two of my obsessions - Blades in the Dark and Ngozi Ukazu’s webcomic “Check Please!” in the form of a writing project (read: fanfic) using Check Please characters and the Blades setting. I’m having a lot of fun re-imagining a college hockey team as a crew of scoundrels despite the wildly differing tones in the source materials.
Knowledge about and interest in the webcomic are 100% not required to enjoy the story, but you should totally check it out if you want a nice palate cleanse after spending an evening in Doskvol. Anyways, I thought I would post a link to it here if you’re interested in checking it out.
